On December 6 and 7 at the Barclays Center in NYC took place The Nightmare Before Christmas Live concerts. Full orchestra and choir performed the score to the movie with original cast singing the songs. Audience could hear Catherine O’Hara as Sally and Ken Page as Oogie Boogie and of course Danny Elfman as Jack Skellington. Take a look at photos and videos from the concerts.
What a Halloween this year in Mexico City! As everyone have expected the Danny Elfman’s Music from the Films of Tim Burton concert on Halloween evening was an unique show. Audience at Arena Ciudad de México could enjoy performance of amazing music and singing. Jonathan Davis from Korn joined Danny to sing ‘This is Halloween’ , Susana Zabaleta sang ‘Sally’s Song’ and of course Elfman performed as beloved Jack Skellington. Jonathan Davis played later on the interpretation of ‘Kidnap The Sandy Claws’.

As the second concert in Paris is over we bring you more memories from Palais des Congrès.
Yesterday on October 21st ,the first of two Danny Elfman’s Music from the Films of Tim Burton concerts in Paris was performed. The concert was held at Palais des Congrès. The Orchestre et Chœur Lamoureux was conducted by John Mauceri. Concert featured performance of violin soloist Sandy Cameron and of course Danny Elfman singing as Jack Skellington.
New dates for The Nightmare Before Christmas are known. At Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NYC, will take place two shows on December 6 & 7. Danny Elfman together with Catherine O’Hara and Ken Page will perform the songs during the screening of the movie. Orchestra and choir will be lead by conductor John Mauceri. On September 30th the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg presented the Hollywood in Hamburg concert dedicated to Danny Elfman’s music. Concert titled Batman meets Alice was performed by the Czech National Symphony Orchestra and CSNO choir and conducted by John Mauceri. The Audience in Elbphilharmonie could also hear the second ever performance of Elfman’s violin concerto ‘Eleven Eleven’, performed by Sandy Cameron.
