This year’s Halloween Danny Elfman is going to spend in Mexico City. Together with special guests violinist Sandy Cameron, soprano soloist Susana Zabaleta and leading vocalist of Korn Jonathan Davis he will perform at another Danny Elfman’s Music from the Films of Tim Burton concert. The Orquesta Camerata Metropolitana and Coro EnHarmonia Vocalis will be conducted by John Mauceri. The concert is a part of The World of Tim Burton exhibition and will be performed on October 31st in Arena Ciudad de México. The tickets go on sale today at 12 pm on Superboletos.

Danny will score the new Gus Vant Sant’s movie ‘Don’t Worry, He Won’t Get Far on Foot’. The upcoming drama is now in post-production.

Danny Elfman will speak at this year’s Film Music Symposium at University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. The FIMU Symposium will take place on September 26th and 27th. Beside being one of the guest speakers, Elfman will teach the Masterclass on the second day of the event. Composer will talk about his career and creative process.
Film Music Reporter informs that Danny Elfman will compose music for the upcoming Fifty Shades Freed. The film is coming to theatres on February the 9th.
